My name is David Fennell. I am an entrepreneur who was raised in the small coastal farming town of Half Moon Bay. I came from a giant Catholic family. My grandparents were farmers who lived on the farm until they passed at age 101.
After finishing my undergraduate from Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, I traveled and worked in more than 30 countries. I have a Masters degree in Asian Studies from the University of San Francisco, Center for the Pacific Rim.
I was invited to speak around the world including the United Nations Development program in Geneva, Switzerland and Mongolian National University in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
I attended and hosted numerous delegations including bringing the first ever West Coast official state delegation to North Korea and I have held joint events with organizations such as the World Bank, Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, Asian Development Bank, Hoover Institute, etc
I founded several technology companies and expanded into a media group in Chico, California where I currently live with my wife, Na.
From my grandparents’ experience, I understand the needs of the farmers. I have the education, experience and business skills to negotiate with an array of people whether they are Democrats or Republicans to solve problems across the aisle.
